Yalıkavak became the club with the most medals in the 2022 TYF Stars Cup!

The TYF Stars Cup races, which are included in the 2022 Activity Program of the Turkish Sailing Federation, hosted by the B. B. Bodrumspor Club Sailing Branch and are the last leg of the 2022 National Team Selection, have concluded.

Our Club has succeeded in becoming the Club with the most medals by taking 4 of the 16 medals distributed in the overall and junior categories.

As a result of 11 races held in the general classification in the races in which 176 athletes in total participated, our athletes Tan Güneç 8th, Derin Bartan 19th, Zeynep Alpartun 42nd, Ariela Rudkovskaya 61st, Sami Deniz Korkmaz 85th, Ömrüye Kurt 153rd, Çınar Özdemir completed the races in 165th place and Çınar Kürşat in 171st place.

In line with these results, our athletes Tan Güneç and Derin Bartan succeeded in taking part in the 2022 National Team.

In the junior classification, the athletes of our club achieved great success. Our athlete Zeynep Özer succeeded in being the first in the overall classification and the girls’ classification in the races completed as a result of 6 races with the participation of 127 athletes. Our athlete Yaman Ali Korkmaz is 3rd and Cengiz Eren Güven. and they made our club proud by getting a medal in the 5th place. Asaf Kaan Güvenç ranked 6th, Ömer Yağız Çankaya 59th, Ali Kantarcıoğlu 72nd, Ela Sever 111th and Deniz Özer 116th.
